Pan Fried Red Snapper
Pan fried red snapper in chilli, garlic, lemon and butter sauce with sautéed cherry tomatoes and mangetout....after a staggering no of requests for the recipe of this on my instastory I decided to post the pic with the recipe instead of Dm-ing everyone separately :) Take a ceramic pan, and why I personally prefer to use ceramic is since it cooks evenly and doesn't leach chemicals.
Ingredients
- Fillet of red snapper, about 500gms...you can use any other fish of your choice also. I love snapper because it’s mildly sweet with a lean, firm moist texture.
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves of garlic minced
- 2tsp chilli flakes...or to taste
- 1 juice of whole lemon
- 1-2 tbsp Nandos mild peri peri sauce
- Salt to taste
- Handful of cherry tomatoes and mangetout...thank you @kibsons for most sweetest and freshest ingredients
Instructions
- Disclaimer here...this is my own recipe, something that I came up with so you can always play around with it...never be scared to experiment.
- Heat the pan with oil and butter....lay the fish and let it sear...then flip and add all the ingredients.
- Sauté the veggies on the side of the pan and coat with the sauce...simmer and let it cook for few minutes...as fish generally doesn’t take that long to cook...if you feel it’s sticking...add a little more butter...I mean what the hell add it anyway.
- Serve and enjoy!
