GUACAMOLE

This is the best guacamole recipe as it’s is simple to make and uses fresh ingredients. Authentic guacamole doesn’t contain fillers and unnecessary ingredients. All you need is avocados, onion, tomatoes, cilantro, lime juice, smoked paprika, and salt. Easy and delicious!

When it comes to crowd-raving guacamole the key is to not get too fancy or try to be too unique. Guacamole is meant to be easy to make and delicious. Plain and simple. It’s a blend of a few high quality ingredients with flavors that meld together beautifully.

The best guacamole starts with the freshest ingredients. Look for avocados that are ripe, but firm. You definitely don’t want soft and mushy avocados.

When we’re entertaining we all have a few recipes we always go to. Sure we’ll also add something with a twist next to it, but we always include one of our staples. This simple guacamole recipe is one of those staples. It’s easy, it’s fresh and no matter what else we serve with it, it’s always the first to go.This is the recipe I used for the mini tacos I posted earlier this week. Its also great served as a welcome dip for any party with tortilla chips. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 avocados (ripe)
  • 1/2 small onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, diced
  • 3 tbsp, fresh cilantro, chopped
  • salt to taste 
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika 
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • red chilli for garnish 

HOW DO YOU MAKE GUACAMOLE?

Slice the ripe avocados in half, remove the pit and skins and scoop them into a mixing bowl. Then use a fork to gently mash them to your desired level of chunky or smooth. Add the onions, tomatoes, cilantro, smoked paprika , lime juice and salt and stir everything together.

That’s it. The most delicious, easy guacamole.
