It’s surprisingly easy to make homemade bread.Cheese and bread….It’s obviously the greatest combination of all time.This Garlic Bread recipe has MORE butter, MORE cheese, MORE garlic, and MORE bread in every single bite. It’s glorious.Carbs are my friend, can you tell?

I don’t know about you but I think it’s hard to beat gooey melty cheese. Especially gooey melty cheese inclosed in bread! *SWOON* #carbsforlife
 

This Cheesy garlic bread is quiet simple to make with loads of cheese and that soft bread on the inside with the crunchy crust on the outside. This is a family favorite for sure! Isn’t it an awesome feeling when you make a successful dinner that everyone eats?! Cooking is a lot of work, so it makes me feel so good when everyone enjoys and actually finishes eating what I make! Slice it and pull it with all the cheese flavor and goodness in every piece. This bread will be gone in minutes and tastes best when warm as to enjoy the soft texture.

This bread is awesome alongside your favourite bowl of soup. Or maybe with salad? You could even serve them on their own with a small bowl of marinara sauce for dipping. Yum!

If you want to make this into pizza cheese bread, simply add some pepperoni or your favorite pizza topping inside with the cheese! I think this would be amazing with some mushrooms and peppers too!!

Some important tips and suggestions for a perfect garlic bread recipe.Firstly, do not forget to add sugar to the yeast and warm milk mixture. Sugar acts as a catalyst which kicks start the yeast fermentation process. Secondly, always bake the garlic bread in a preheated oven. You can preheat the oven for 10 minutes and then continue with the baking process. lastly, you can totally skip the cheese part and to prepare simple garlic bread recipe.

This bread has a strong and attractive flavor because garlic, herbs and spices are used in the dough, and which are again topped on top before baking.

Ingredients:

Garlic Herbed Butter:

  • Soft butter 120g

  • Garlic, crushed 3 tbsp

  • Dried oregano 1 tsp

  • Salt ½ tsp or to taste

  • Fresh coriander chopped 2 tbsp

Dough:

  • Warm water ¾ Cup

  • Sugar 1 & ½ tbsp

  • Instant yeast 2 tsp

  • Olive oil 2 tbsp

  • Garlic powder ½ tbsp

  • Salt ½ tsp

  • Dry milk powder ¼ Cup

  • All-purpose flour 2 Cup

  • Olive oil 2 tsp

Assembling:

  • Prepared garlic herbed butter

  • Cheddar cheese grated as required

  • Mozzarella cheese grated as required

  • Red chilli crushed

  • Dried oregano

Directions:

Prepare Garlic Herbed Butter:

In a bowl,add butter garlic,dried oregano,salt,fresh coriander and mix well.

Prepare Dough:

In a bowl,add warm water,sugar & mix well.

Add instant yeast & mix well,cover & let it rest for 10-15 minutes.

Add olive oil garlic powder ,salt, dry milk powder, gradually add all-purpose flour and mix well for 5 minutes with the help of wooden spoon.

Dust dry flour on surface and knead with hands until smooth dough is formed (5 minutes). Or alternatively use a hook attachment in a stand mixer and knead till smooth dough.

In a bowl,add olive oil. Place the dough & grease with the olive oil, cover and proof it for 2 hours.

Dust dry flour and knead dough again then cut into 2 halves.

Take one part and make a ball,dust dry flour & roll it with the help of rolling pin (8 inch).

On greased baking tray,place rolled dough, add & spread the prepared garlic herbed butter.

On one side of the dough,add cheddar cheese,mozzarella cheese,red chilli crushed,brush water on the edges of the dough and flip the other part of the dough over it,press and seal the edges.

Apply prepared garlic herbed butter & make cuts on it with the help of dough cutter,sprinkle red chilli crushed & dried oregano (Makes 2).

Bake in preheated oven (on lower grill) at 180 C for 15-20 minutes.

After baking,apply garlic herbed butter & serve!
